As you can see, the board is now repaired and back in the box. I counted 28 separate semiconductor components that I had to replace, either because they were bust already or because they had been heated to the extent that they would probably soon be bust if they were left in place. All my work carries a 12-month guarantee, and it isn’t worthwhile skimping. I wouldn’t anyway.
