Here's the beast. It's a Grundig Mandello: a  radiogram from the mid-1960s which provides mono AM and FM radio reception and a stereo record player. Being a Grundig, it's a cut above the average and will sound excellent when sorted out. However, that's going to take some doing: apart from all the usual repairs and servicing that are needed with radiograms, the outstanding problem with this one is that the stereo amplifier that drives the loudspeakers is a total write-off.
